ScarWork is primarily to improve feeling and functionality in the scar and surrounding tissues (improving overall movement, muscle function and posture). In this session, I allow 90-minutes for a thorough physical assessment to identify any musculoskeletal imbalances. These can include a visual postural assessment, measuring muscle length, identifying joint range of movement, assessing active movement using PT approved functional testing and identifying areas of soft-tissue congestion.
